It was such a thrill to return to my roots to sell and sign my book and see many old colleagues and friends.  But my neighbors really made my day!  In Bridgeport and Fairmont, my neighborhood friends supported me and my book like no other!  Thanks to my sister Annie for helping keep me straight that day. Always there when I need her! Fairmont Catholic Principal Stacey, thanks for the opportunity to read-aloud to your students for that energy boost that only a classroom full of curious children can give.
Boston Book Festival, October 12, 2018.  Rainy, rainy day, but sold books anyway!  I love how marketing this book takes me places I would not usually go.  It was a great day and overnight with my daughter, who is my best sidekick and traveling partner!  She knows the ropes!  City girl.

Smile is big because sales were big at THE BIG E!

About 100,000 people filed by that day.  Most sales I have ever had in one day.

Made many significant contacts with educators from all six states and beyond.  It was an adventure.  Thank you daughter Julie for hawking my book and keep me busy signing.

August 11, 2018    Rain dampened our sales, but not our spirits!  We will be back.

My tent partner, Dana Gambardella, from Literacy Chef Publishing, and my
grandchildren Evan and Emily helped pass the long day. While such events are a
lot of work and time out of my life, there are always positives and unbelievable
networking and learning opportunities.  Thanks to ARIA for coordinating such.
