Love the concept, Etta. This is not the time of life to roll up the proverbial carpet. It will require that we slow the wheels of aging, however, for both body and mind in order to make quality contributions to family, friends and society. Healthy eating, exercise, stress reduction and meditation (meaningful introspection) are all starting points for me. Getting off all prescription meds is key too. I've seen far too many "seniors" check-out while they're still alive. I don't want to be one of them. Thank you for the inspiration. We live in exciting times. We can do this; we can make it better!

Love the concept - blended aging! As I look forward to my grandchild I started to lament already how old I'd be at that child's graduation. I now plan to enjoy every day for the gift it will be and plan to blend my time getting to the BIRTH day! Thanks for this post!

Yes, Janie, mindset is everything and you will be fine, because you have always led a blended life - will be easy for you to blend beautifully into ageing! And . . . brace yourself for that life changing event of a first grandchild. It will rock your world in ways you cannot imagine.
